What to expect from us?

At Subtle Being, we want to ensure you have a comfortable and relaxing experience during your massage appointment. Here are a few important details about what to expect and how to dress for your appointment:

Dress Code:
Please wear comfortable clothing to your massage appointment. We recommend loose-fitting garments that allow for ease of movement. It's best to avoid restrictive and thick clothing, such as tight jeans or constrictive belts, as they may limit the benefits of the massage. Additionally, we suggest removing any jewelry or accessories that might interfere with the session.

Arrival:
We will try to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow us ample time to check-in, fill out any necessary paperwork, and discuss your specific needs and concerns with your massage therapist.

Consultation:
Upon arrival our friendly staff who will guide you through a brief consultation process. This is an opportunity for you to communicate any health conditions, preferences, or specific areas of focus you'd like the therapist to address during your session. Rest assured that all information shared during the consultation is strictly confidential and that we adhere to the data protection act 2018

During the Massage:
Our professional massage therapists will create a tranquil and peaceful environment to help you unwind. You will be provided with a comfortable massage table and may be asked to undress to your level of comfort. If dressed down you will be discreetly draped with sheets or towels throughout the session to maintain your privacy. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered.

Communication:
Communication is key to ensuring your massage experience is tailored to your needs. Feel free to communicate your preferences regarding pressure, areas of focus, or any discomfort you may feel during the session. Your therapist will regularly check in with you to ensure your comfort and satisfaction.

Post-Massage:
After your massage, take a few moments to relax and allow the benefits of the session to settle in. It is important to hydrate and drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins released during the massage. We also recommend walking up to 10,000 steps and using ice if tender or inflamed from deep tissue work. Your therapist may also provide you with some self-care tips or recommendations to enhance the benefits of the massage.
